In April 2023 Tees Active took over the operation of the Forum theatre from Riverside Leisure. Tees Active is a leading charitable trust providing sport, leisure and wellbeing services to communities in partnership with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. Tees Active have an excellent track record in venue management, partnership working and, in the delivery, and marketing of innovative and accessible leisure activities for the whole borough of Stockton-on-Tees and the wider Tees Valley. As a non-profit-distributing social enterprise, Tees Active combine the principled ethos of the public sector with the commercial agility of the private sector to provide a supportive, successful and sustainable service for future generations.
