A GIGANTIC Opening Panto Weekend at Forum Theatre Billingham!

Forum Theatre Billingham welcomed excited pantomime pundits for a record breaking opening weekend of Jack & The Beanstalk.

The pantomime at Forum Theatre opened on Saturday 2nd December with two performances which saw near sell-out crowds resulting in a record number of tickets purchased in comparison to previous years. The opening weekend of the pantomime consisted of 4 performances, a matinee and evening performance on both Saturday and Sunday.

This years pantomime features Connor McIntyre – alias Coronation Street’s villain Pat Phelan playing Fleshcreep, CBBC’s Almost Never star Oakley Orchard as Jack as well as Forum Theatre returning favourites the #Cracking Liam Mellor as Simple Simon, The magical Katy Allen as Fairy Beansprout, Billingham local Victoria Holtom as the beautiful Princess Jill and Robert Squire as Dame Trott.

With stunning sets, comedy, audience participation and breath-taking special effects, Jack and the Beanstalk promises to be the funniest and most spectacular pantomime you’ve ‘bean’ waiting for!

Forum Theatre Manager, Matt Prosser, added: “We had a great opening weekend welcoming customers of all ages from across the region and it is always exciting to welcome the new generation of theatre goers for their first pantomime. The panto season for many is the start of families annual festive traditions and it is great that we can play a huge part in that.”
