Forum Theatre Billingham Celebrates Over 20 Years of Pantomime Magic with Tom Rolfe

North East’s performer and producer Tom Rolfe is celebrating more than two decades of outstanding entertainment at Forum Theatre Billingham and will be returning to the stage this February Half Term with the pantomime production Beauty & The Beast.

Tom’s journey began well over 20 years ago at Forum Theatre School where he discovered his passion for the performing arts from an early age. He gained his first taste of pantomime in the 2005 festive production of Cinderella, performing as a dancer in the ensemble. He went on to appear in more Forum Theatre pantomimes over subsequent years, returning to the ensemble before making his main cast debut in Goldilocks in 2008 where he developed his circus skills.

Over time, Tom has become a much loved face not only on the Forum Theatre stage but also at other theatres across the region. His numerous pantomime appearances, combined with his talent as a variety performer, have made him a favourite among local audiences and a well respected entertainer throughout Teesside.

His passion for live theatre evolved further as he stepped into producing, launching his first Forum Theatre pantomime in February 2018. Since then, Tom Rolfe Productions has become a staple of Billingham’s February Half Term calendar.

And this February Half Term, audiences can look forward to a magical Tale as Old As Time with Beauty & The Beast which opens on Friday 20 February and runs until Wednesday 25 February. This exciting high energy production with a fantastic cast promises dazzling scenery, colourful costumes, catchy songs, and laugh-out-loud comedy for the whole family!

Tom Rolfe said “I’m thrilled to be returning to Forum Theatre Billingham! The crowds here are always incredible and they bring such amazing energy to every show. I can’t wait to step back on stage and bring a brand new adventure to life for families this February Half Term.
