Celebrate VE Day With A Promz Party

This May marks the 80^th anniversary of VE Day and Forum Theatre Billingham will be marking the occasion by saluting our Greatest Generation with a “A Promz Party Featuring The Mike James Orchestra & Singers”.

To celebrate 80 years of “Victory in Europe”, Forum Theatre Billingham will be providing FREE TICKETS for both current and past serving armed forces personnel. In addition we would be honoured to welcome anybody that served during WW2 as a guest of honour on the night.

VE Day in 1945 was a day of celebration with the streets brimming with people singing and dancing so come along for a Promz Party and wave your flag for 80 years of peace. The night takes the audience on a journey through rousing and timeless pop classics through the decades, iconic film themes, swing standards, classical favourites and get-up-and-dance music. With a “Last Night of The Promz” style finale of famous flag waving anthems with a last night of the proms finale of Land of Hope and Glory.

The Mike James Orchestra has performed for audiences everywhere, from their most recent tour of Europe to features on the BBC, ITV and Sky Television and their residencies at the world famous Blackpool Tower and the QE2, even finding time to feature in two Hollywood films along the way.
